Add and revise definitions on the Glossary Entries page! You can add comments to anyone else's entries, but do not edit the original submission. Some guidelines to follow to keep it user friendly:
  • Add entries to keep them in alphabetical order
  • Add links to references if there is an online source (see example under "Research" below)
  • If no online source, include an APA ed.6 reference
  • Add links to related material on the web or within the Wiki!
  • You can embed a related discussion about any point!!
  • Alternatively, if you want any key points to be displayed with the definition, add a bullet, followed by your name and comment below the definition (see example under "Research" below)
For each word, your posting to the glossary needs to include the following:

1. Selected Term (word or phrase if appropriate)
2. A note indicating in what chapter/reading you found the term (does not need to be all places, just at least one)
3. “Student-friendly” definition –your task here is to be accurate, but to try to use simple, straightforward language, and to try to avoid defining one word by using other complicated terminology. You may not simply use/adapt a definition provided by Creswell.
4. An example of the word/phrase “in action” exemplifying the meaning of the term within a research design/research-related context.
